It is extremely difficult to turn the spotlight around in the opposite direction to write about oneself. With all the social networking sites available to self-paparazzi, one might think that there is also little need for a personal web site, but I still see the value in having and maintaining one as you need a starting point for everything. And as far as the difficulty factor goes, I am sure there will be several iterations of this home page and after reading it back 100 times I might then get it right.
So I am sure you are also wondering why my site appears to be in Spanglish. I will one day get around to doing a full translation, but these little things are just my way of self-immersing. I have been studying and practicing Spanish for about 2 years now on a part-time basis and I find that having constant reminders around with different words is a good way. If you are ever lucky enough to visit my residence you will notice that my cupboards and furniture are not much different from my web site - there are bi-lingual labels on just about everything ;-).
